The Parable of the Great Banquet

At some of the January sessions we heard  – and saw enacted –  a parable Jesus told about a banquet.   The point of the parable is about having a change of heart in one’s life all the time.  Jesus wants us to focus on “the other,” on those people who show up in our lives day-in and day-out.  Jesus has come for them and most likely Jesus comes to us through them disguised.

Who  showed-up in your life today disguised as Jesus ?  How did you speak with them ?  treat them ?  

God  continually calls us to “deny ourselves” so we can see him in others.
