Lenten Faithscape

Children in Grades 4, 5 and 6  participated in a Lenten “Faithscape”  recently.  The three practices of Lent were featured:  Pray, Fast and Give.   Children learned that fasting  is the spiritual discipline of giving something up to help us focus on God and had an opportunity to decide what they would do during the Lenten season.

A favorite Lenten prayer are the Stations of the Cross.   One suggestion is to focus on one station for a  few days and then move on to the next station.   A great website for children is http://www.cptryon.org/prayer/child/stations/index.html.
