Getting to Know the Lord Jesus

” The most important thing that can happen to a person,” Pope Francis explained during one of his homilies with children present,  “is to encounter Jesus, who loves us, who has saved us, who gave his life for us.”       This was our focus at our March gatherings:  Meeting the living Christ in our everyday lives.

We were reminded of four things:   1.   God loves us.   2.  We are in need of repentance so we can turn towards God.  3.  We  are able to say that Jesus is our Lord and Savior.  4.  We are able to go out and spread the Good News !
