Youth Ministry Special Events 2015 – 2016

To foster living as a disciple of Christ in our world today, teens are asked to attend special events. These events are designed to encourage attendance at parish and diocesan events that teens may not otherwise attend.

The following special events are available for the 2014-2015 year.  For further details consult the  calendar or parish bulletin where noted. Please note, as with the calendar, this list may be updated periodically.

Crop Walk – October 4, 2015.  Begins 1:30 pm.  (can be used for service OR a special event).  Sponsor forms can be found in the convent garage.

Straight and Narrow Gospel choir –  October 25, Youth Mass – The choir will sing and some members of the Straight and Narrow Gospel Choir will give witness to their battle with substance abuse.  Will be held in the parish center.

Advent Mission – Date TBD


Easter Triduum – Attend at least one of the following; Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday

Living Stations of the Cross – Good Friday  March 25, 2016 –  8:00 pm in the church – presentation of the Stations of the Cross.

Movie with a meaning – TBD

• Food Fast – Saturday February 20-Sunday February 21, 2016
