Holy Week

Holy Week, which began on Sunday, April 14, is the holiest week of our church year.  During this time we remember the events of Jesus’ last days on earth.  This includes his entry into the city of  Jerusalem, the Last Supper with his apostles, his prayer in the garden, his arrest,  trial and way of the cross.

As Christians we believe that Jesus died for each one of us and conquered death on the cross.

Each of the events of Holy Week leads us to Easter.  Jesus rose to new life as he promised.  Alleluia !  Alleluia !
