Sunday, April 9, is the beginning of the holiest week of our church year. During this time we remember the events of Jesus’ last days on earth. This includes his entry into the city of Jerusalem, the Last Supper with his apostles, his prayer in the garden, his arrest, trial and way of the cross.
As Christians we believe that Jesus died for each one of us and conquered death on the cross.
Each of the events of Holy Week leads us to Easter. Jesus rose to new life as he promised. Alleluia ! Alleluia !
May this Easter find us closer to the God who loves us, gave his life for us and wants to be part of our lives !
